Hummingbird, what are you doing here?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sitting in your nest, tiny -as you are-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

your tail standing out one side, the head peaking in the front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kollibri, was tuts du hier?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sitzt winzig klein -wie du nun mal bist- in deinem Nest<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

dein Schwanz steht hinten raus, der Kopf lugt vorn hervor.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built into a thin breach of this tree, planted just ten months ago,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

now having the leaves of spring<\/p>\n\n\n\n

in a small circle of dirt, surrounded by the concrete of the parking lot<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gebaut auf dem d<\/span>\u00fcnnen Ast des jungen B<\/span>\u00e4umchen, vor nur zehn Monaten gepflanzt,<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jetzt im gr<\/span>\u00fcnen F<\/span>r\u00fchlingslaub.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

in einen kleinen Erdkreis, umgeben vom Asphalt des Parkplatzes.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why did you chose this tree out of more than fifty ones<\/p>\n\n\n\n

at the entrance to the huge retail building?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where busy shoppers are streaming by endlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warum hast Du gerade diesen Baum unter <\/em><\/span> f<\/span>\u00fcnfzig ausgew<\/span>\u00e4hlt<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

am Eingang des riesigen Gesch\u00e4ftshauses?<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wo eilige Eink<\/span>\u00e4ufer endlos ein und aus str\u00f6men.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not being noticed is your only protection,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

and for sure, no cat will get you here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, you should be in a tropical place, surrounded by blossoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nicht bemerkt zu werden ist dein einziger Schutz,<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

und mit Sicherheit entdeckt dich keine Katze hier.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trotzdem, du solltest in einer tropischen Gegend sein, umgeben von Bl<\/span>\u00fcten.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
